Flat bars are such a versatile material they can be used in so many ways. Used in fencing and gates, furniture work, craft projects, making brackets, benches, shelves and frameworks. The steel flat bar can also be used for repair work on caravans, trailers and farm machinery. The uses are limited only to your imagination.
Mild steel flat bars are available in a wide variety of sizes ranging in size from 10mm x 3mm thick right up to 300mm x 25mm thick. The standard grade of mild steel flats is 300gr, but there are other options.
We can supply galvanized flats, special grade machining flats such as 1016gr or 1020gr just to name a couple.
Flat Bar can be ordered in full lengths or you have it cut to your preferred sizes. You can pick up your order from Hastings or have it delivered to you.
